Hello,

I am new with handling virtual enviroment. Just have set up private virtual laptop because for security purpose.

My quesition is:

Situation: I have gotten SAP ERP 6.0 EhP 6 on virtual enviroment. Is there any possibility increasing performance rate in virtual enviroment?
It is not so bad, but I would appreciate if performance is higher. I run it from disk with USB 3.0
I have enough RAM with 8 GB, I will arm laptop with 12 GB when this storage is available. CPU is also OK
So my idea is assembling SDD disk in lapotop.

Will or could this increase performance significantelly?
Edit: What would be your advise?
Thank you for your valueable answer and help

all the best Erwin

"significatly" is a very vague word here, but this is a fairly accurate[*][/b]: If your gained x% more speed in the host (if the system was on that SSD disk), you'll gain something close of that percentage in the guest.

[*][/b] This, of course, if there is no other bottleneck.
