LinuxMint17Cinnamon-running w/o hardware video acceleration

Post by smw »

Just built a new VM and installed LM17 Cinnamon. After login, dialog pops up stating that Cinnamon is running with hardware video acceleration, and is in software rendering mode.
Looked through these forums and on the Internet, made sure I had enabled 3D Acceleration. No luck.
Any suggestions would be most appreciated.
Thanks!

See ticket https://www.virtualbox.org/ticket/12941

Looks like the file has expired and the next maintenance release has not made it out yet. I would ask the DEVS ( via the ticket ) if they would repost it.

OSX, Linux and Windows Hosts & Guests
There are three groups of people. Those that can count and those that can't.
