Hello,
I am trying to use a Trendnet USB modem (TFM-561U) on my guest OS (win7). The host is also a win7 machine. The modem installed fine on host machine. When I launch VirtualBOX and go to setting, USB, the USB Device Filters show there is a Conexant USB Modem [0100]. I am not sure if this is a generic modem, because when I disable the Trendnet modem, VB still shows the Conexant USB modem, even though I have removed it from the list.
Is that possible to connect a USB modem to guest OS, and use the modem to dial out?
Thanks,
Bill

Re: Trendnet USB modem
Yes it is possible to pass the modem to the VM and use it inside of it.
