I am trying to use a Gemplus USB SmartCard reader and get the following error:
Failed to attach the USB device Gemplus USB SmartCard Reader [0100] to the virtual machine Windows 7.
USB device 'Gemplus USB SmartCard Reader' with UUID {502fb054-c900-4116-9d5e-250d1f0f2f4f} is in use by someone else.
Result Code: NS_ERROR_FAILURE (0x80004005)
Component: HostUSBDevice
Interface: IHostUSBDevice {173b4b44-d268-4334-a00d-b6521c9a740a}
Callee: IConsole {8ab7c520-2442-4b66-8d74-4ff1e195d2b6}
I tried disconnecting and re-connecting the reader with the VM running to no avail. This error occurs with the card in or out of the reader. Any advice?
Thanks

Re: SmartCard Reader
