Installation Issues

Hello,

pls help me with install VirtualBox-4.3.12-93733-Win.exe .
Installation is almost the end , when he starts rollback and end with fatal error.
In windows aplication log is error 1603 .
System runs on win 7 64bit professional and is fully updated.
In atachment is install log .

Regarding your log, I don't intend to download and open some unknown offsite file. In future please make sure that all files are attached here directly. See the "Upload Attachment" tab on the message posting form.

Regarding your problem, make sure that you use "Run as administrator" to run the installer. Also make sure that "Driver Signature Enforcement" is not set to silently reject non-Microsoft kernel drivers - make sure it at least prompts you. VirtualBox can't hook into network or USB without drivers.

Thank you for your advice. Tomorrow i will try. About the log attachment , i was do it this because server policy won't allow me attach log this size.

You can send compressed files. That will almost always work.

It still looks like a permissions issue. The problem seems to occur when installing network drivers on the host.

I was try boot win 7 with F8 and choose "disable signature driver enforcement" and still no luck. I my computer is install several VPN clients :
Checkpoint Endpoint Security VPN
Cisco VPN
Zyxel Smart VPN
Do you think there is a problem ?

Hi,
I'm having the same fatal installation problem on my windows 7 64-bit machine. Has anyone gotten this to work. I am running the install as an administrator and I've disable the driver enforcement.

Hi,
I was suffering the same problems with latest version 4.3.20 for Windows hosts.
Installed previous version 4.2.26 with success
So I recomment previous versions.

I don't see what the VirtualBox version would have to do with it. It's the same Microsoft Installer in both cases.
