Recording a Guest with Camtasia Capture turns Black

Post by d3x »

Hi there,
I am trying to record a "Full Screen Guest Windows" with Camtasia from the Host.
When i'm logging into Windows (and vbox tools disappear) the capture turns black except of the mouse.
i can see my mouse movement but not the rest.
i think it has something to do with that "fullscreen" thing

i installed the guest add stuff...

any idea why the screen turns black?

thats for your help

Yeah, it's related to using 3D acceleration and full-screen.

BTW, this doesn't happen in VMware, so it seems to be a Virtualbox specific issue.
(Although VMware has the same small cursor issue, unless you use "optimize mouse for games", which acts the same as "disable mouse integration" in Virtualbox).
