Nested hypervisors why does fusion work but OVB not?

Hi
On one system I have it is OSX and running VMWare Fusion with a Centos 6.5 64bit guest. I am able to determine from the guest's /proc/cpuinfo that virtualization is supported. From this I can determine the host BIOS and OS is suitably configured to support nested hypervisors. At least, on fusion on this Intel host vmx is listed.

On OVB on the same physical host with the same Centos 6.5 ISO image, I never been able to get virtualization support. In other words, grepping /proc/cpuinfo does not show the required vmx flag as when a like for like install is created in Fusion.

In the 'Settings' pane under 'System' it says, Acceleration VT-x/AMD-V,Nested Paging, PAE/NX

Am I missing something?
Many thanks
Kevin

Nesting is not supported.
