Can't Ping host from guest os

Post by Monstrx »

Hello,
I do have an issue.
I'm Able to ping guest os from host with Host-Only adapter enabled. But unable to do same from guest.
As well as i can't ping Dhcp server ip

Tried to turn of firewalls on both,
As well as a lot of other workaround found, but none of them got me nowhere.
Maybe someone has experienced something similar before. As most of my serche in google ended up that Guest is not reachable but not host.

Thanks in advance.

The host-only service is non-routable so there should be no gateway. Setting one will mess up the network. Also the host may not have ICMP enabled. This is set in the firewall, but stopping the firewall will not enable it. This has to be done manually.
