Hello
Is it possible :
My desktop computer (WIN 8 ) runs on virtualbox a virtual machine with windows XP.

Firstly:
Can I boot into that machine (WIN XP) from old laptop ?
That all computations are performed by Desktop -- Laptop is only used for display and input data?

Secondly:
If boot is not possible - i can have Running Operating system some kind on laptop(Laptop have hard drive).
Is there any way that all work is made by desktop . Laptop only displays and inputs data.

I think second is normal Virtualbox use.
Sorry for totally newbie question and caveman english.
Greetings to all

Greetings, Mike!
If you want all the work to be done on the desktop guest and you just view the output and provide input from a laptop, that would be simple Remote Desktop. Virtualbox has a Remote Desktop system built-in. XP, professional or higher, has native Remote Desktop as well. Then you could also put other remote software in the guest, like Ultravnc (free, and I use it all the time), and remote in that way. You could try an XP install on the laptop for a Remote Desktop or Ultravnc or whatever client, or try something like ThinStation as the laptop OS.
