This is happening on two different hosts. One running 2008R2, the other Windows 7. Versions of VB are 4.3.12 on the latter and and 4.2.12 on the 2008R2 host. The guest VM is in both cases 2008R2
It's not completely consistent but around 80% of the time I RDP to the host, then log off with the VM guest running, a get a prompt on how to shut down the guest, - power off, etc., so I cannot log off without shutting down the guest. If I try, the guest gets shut down as "aborted". I have to disconnect, not log off the RDP session.
Thanks.

These kinds of problems that are reproducible should be reported to bugtracker. If you have not signed on to Bugtracker before you will need to select a new Nickname to be able to report issues.
It would also help if you can post the ticket number here so other can see the progress, add information, or see the final results.
