Very slow when doing copy or cut in Excel 365

Post by JR Lopez »

Hi all,

Im new to VirtualBox. Ive been trying to figure out why my mouse is crawling whenever I just try to copy or cut cells in my excel work sheet.

I installed VirtualBox version 4.3.10 r93012 and have Windows 7 64bit in it. My Laptop bdwy is Mac pro OS x.
The version of windows office I installed in my virtual box is MS office 365 ProPlus (32bit).

I tried reinstalling my Virtual Box and Windows Office (both in 32 and 64bit) - same issue.

If there's any info you need, id be glad to locate this for you. Need this for my everyday work..

Thanks in advance..

I eventually saw a post fixing this issue..

1. Press Windows Key and U for Ease of Access Center.
2. Go to "Use computer without a display"
3. check the box "Turn off all unnecessary animations (when possible)".

I guess it has nothing to do with Win office being installed too in VirtualBox.

WOW!

This worked!!!
Thank you so very much. I was going out of my mind trying to run Excel smoothly in Win7. Now it runs like native.
I will also try it on my new WinX installation, and see if it works as well (same problem).

Thank you again,
