Install the guest additions (in the guest).

So that means downloading the disk image ? Thanks for the tip. Got some speed problems with my internet, like about 100kb/sec. I'll leave it till that's fixed. thx.

No, it means following the instructions in the user manual. An additional download is not required - if you have the official VirtualBox install then it already includes the GAs ISO.

I am using latest version of Ubuntu 64 bit , it had VirtualBox in the software center so it was a one click install. I have installed Win 7 into VB. I have gone to the DEVICES tab and inserted the Guest Additions CD image ,which now shows as an icon at the bottom. I'm now stuck as what to do next. I haven't found a youtube video that helps. They all seem to use terminal commands. I don't think this is what I need to do ? Im new at Linux. When I had a Windows host I found Guest additions and full screen easy. But using Ubuntu as host Im getting stuck. Please Help?

with the guest additions still mounted, you need to open Windows Explorer in your Windows guest, (the folder icon if you don't know). In the side pane you will see the VirtualBox guest additions .iso mounted as a CD. Click on it. Double click the VirtualBoxWindowsAdditions.exe file. (I think that's what it's called). Follow the screen instructions.
