4.3.12 VirtualBox on OSX 10.9.3
This is not a question but a recommendation. If you are running Mavericks, update to 10.9.3 and VirtualBox 4.3.12. They seem to work better together than OSX 10.9.2 and VB 4.3.10. Since there wasn't much in the changelog for VB 4.3.12 related to Macs, some of the difference seems to be OSX 10.9.3.

I'm really not aware about any recent change which could explain your observation. But I agree that 4.3.12 fixes some bugs of 4.3.10, so better use 4.3.12 rather than 4.3.10.

The graphics drivers for OSX have been updated for 10.9.3 and make certain guests such as Ubuntu w/Unity and guests running Cinnamon look and work a little better is all.Frank Mehnert wrote:I'm really not aware about any recent change which could explain your observation. The guest appliance (XP) does not seem to be as reliable in Mavericks 10.9.3 as they were in 10.8.5. They will abort abruptly without any warning. I didn't have this at all before in 10.8.5. They do seem to run smoother though.

Ahh, but that was major for the Mac version -- it now works as advertised for USB support and smooths out the graphics.loukingjr wrote: there wasn't much in the changelog for VB 4.3.12 related to Macs.
