Hello All,
Do the network issues will occur for Windows 8.1 hosts with 4.3.10?
Checking before I install.
Thanks,
Bob

Re: Windows 8.1 Host Network Issues
I had seen some mention of be sure to uncheck the bridge network adapter when installing or the network adapter stops working and some mention of issues when the host comes out of hibernation.
Just making sure I understand the ramifications of installing on my Windows 8.1 computer.
Thanks,
Bob

I don't use 8.1 so I can only say that I haven't seen any specific issues with it that was reported by many users. Maybe others will have more input for you here.

Re: Windows 8.1 Host Network Issues
I have been using Windows 8.1 since the pre-release version and have no problems with bridged networking. There were some problems with networking with some NIC drivers (such as the Intel Pro/1000) with the pre-release version of 8.1 but I have not seen any reports lately. (Interestingly I have seen similar posts in the Hyper-V forums where the NIC driver includes management software rather than being a simple driver).
The only problems I can recall seeing in the forums recently relate to problems when upgrading from one version of VirtualBox to another.

Re: Windows 8.1 Host Network Issues
I do not know what network issues you mean, but I had problems with both 4.3.10 and 4.3.12. I just got one VM with NAT network. Installing VirtualBox makes the Host unreachable at all. I had to manually install the Host Bridge Server on the network adapter on the host (mentioned somewhere here in the forums / bug tracker). So I guess it still bugged on Windows 8.1 Hosts, even without using bridged networking.
