64 Bit Not Detected

Post by Aeirex »

I am using Windows 8.1 via 875VJ modeled Labtop from Asus. I've provided an attachment of my problem showing that x64 are not displayed.

I've installed the extensions pack alongside the x86/x64 version installer of VirtualBox-4.3.10-93012-Win.exe.

you need to enable VT-x in your computers BIOS/CMOS settings.

also, worth noting that when you have switched on 'virtualisation' in your BIOS, you must power down fully - a reboot isn't sufficient.

Do you know what key Asus labtops typically use to enter the bios? I looked it up and seemed to be delete or F10.
