Greetings:
I have a five month old system (Win 7-x64 host) that, believe it or not, I'm forced to use a wireless USB adapter to get my internet connection. This works fine except when running one of my VB virtual machines. Then, intermittently, the wireless adapter loses connectivity. PITA when trying to work from home...
I've seen errors like "Name resolution for the name ipinfo.io timed out after none of the configured DNS servers responded" and "WLAN Extensibility Module has stopped" in the System Event Viewer, but can't be certain these are even related.
The adapter is a Netgear WNDA3100v2 and I've been through the Netgear support apparatus before realizing it only seems to happen when VMs are running. They even RMA'd the adapter, but the new one's doing the same thing.
Anybody seen anything like this? I'm assuming the VB driver is interfering with the Netgear driver????
Thanks, in advance, for any assistance!!
Neil

Which network mode are you using in the VM config?
Hyperbox - Virtual Infrastructure Manager - https://apps.kamax.lu/hyperbox/

Greetings:
I'm not sure what you're asking.
I've just got the one adapter enabled, Adapter 1. It has the following options set:
Attached to: NAT
Adapter Type: PCnet-FastIII(Am79C973)
Promiscuous Mode: Deny
MAC Address: 0800278BDF69
Cable Connected is checked.
There is no Port Forwarding configured.
Thanks!
