Update Windows 8 to Windows 8.1

Hi there,
I have installed Windwows 8 on VirtualBox hosted by Ubuntu 14.04 64bit. I would like to upgrade Windows 8 to Windows 8.1. When I enter Windows Store and select the upgrade I get info that my procesor is no supported by the update.
I have to add that I can install Windows 8.1 on new virtual machine and during frash installation there is no procesor issue. But I want to upgrade my old system with my settings and programs.

There is any way to make my virtual machine's Windows 8 to be upgraded to 8.1

Change the guest OS type to Win8.1 or Win8.1(64 bit) in the VM settings.

I didn't find out that this new option is available in guest OS choose.

The option has been available for about the same length of time as Win8.1 has been available.

What is the version of VirtualBox that you're running?
