Disable VboxManage logging

Almost every call to VBoxManage is creating a log file in the form of `<date>-VBoxManage.exe-<pid?>.log` with the content

Code: Select all

Log created: 2014-05-14T06:02:08.022883400Z
Executable: c:\Program Files\Oracle\VirtualBox\VBoxManage.exe
Commandline: "c:\Program Files\Oracle\VirtualBox\VBoxManage.exe" showvminfo 648826fc-0706-...
I've nothing special set up and no environment variables set. How can I disable creating those log files?

Where are these files created? What is your host OS? How do you run the vboxmanage command?
We need more context here please...

System: Windows 7, VirtualBox 4.3.10

The log files are created in the current working dir when calling VBoxManage e.g. on CMD or via a batch script. Some commands create a log file (e.g. modifyvm, showvminfo) while others not (e.g. list vms).

I can't reproduce it, no file is created in my case on a Win7 and 4.3.10.
It must be another software creating these files, or some kind of debug mode.

Ah yes, this comes from an extension. Sorry.
