[Solved] Ubuntu Won't ReSize

Post by drmsucks »

Installed Ubuntu 14.04 (64 bit) in VirtualBox 4.3.10 running on Windows Pro 8.1 64 bit with 8.1 update.

Install seemed to go okay (but, the Restart at the end of installation hung - I shut down the VM and VB and re-started them). Ubuntu seems to run okay (e.g., FF will open, can go to Settings, etc) but only sizes to about 5" x 4" - not enough to be usable. Nothing I've been able to do can re-size the Ubuntu window.

Appreciate any help.

Computer hardware: ASUS M487TD EVO with AMD 64 Phenom II x 2 (555), Win 8.1 Pro 64 bit with 8.1 update, 12 GB RAM, nvidia GeForce 8400 GS video card, Crucial M4 SSD.
