Re: WSRV 2012R2 on Win7: VERR_NOT_SUPPORTED
I don't believe VirtualBox supports VHDx for one thing.
it's possible to convert a .vhdx file to a .vhd file but that is something you have to find out how to do.VD: error VERR_NOT_SUPPORTED opening image file 'Y:\Vbox\aktiveMaschinen\WSRV2012R2_Vorlage - Sysprep\Virtual Hard Disks\WSRV2012R2_Vorlage.vhdx' (VERR_NOT_SUPPORTED).

Re: WSRV 2012R2 on Win7: VERR_NOT_SUPPORTED
Hi,
when I create a new one it is possible to choose VHDX as existing image. So I thing it should be possible to use it. But direct when I choose the vhdx file I get the error message. It is an Hyper-V file. May be that that causes the problem.
TIA
Dirk

I have no vhdx file to see if I can select it but, as I said, VirtualBox does not support vhdx images as far as I know, and you can't have Hyper-V enabled if you want to run VirtualBox guests.dirkn wrote:Hi,
