WSRV 2012R2 on Win7: VERR_NOT_SUPPORTED

Hi,
I try to install an vhdx file with installed Windows Server 2012 R2 in it with no success. My Host is W7 64bit. VBox 4.3.10

Die Plattenabbilddatei Y:\Vbox\aktiveMaschinen\WSRV2012R2_Vorlage - Sysprep\Virtual Hard Disks\WSRV2012R2_Vorlage.vhdx konnte nicht geöffnet werden.

Could not open the medium 'Y:\Vbox\aktiveMaschinen\WSRV2012R2_Vorlage - Sysprep\Virtual Hard Disks\WSRV2012R2_Vorlage.vhdx'.

I don't believe VirtualBox supports VHDx for one thing.

it's possible to convert a .vhdx file to a .vhd file but that is something you have to find out how to do.

Hi,
when I create a new one it is possible to choose VHDX as existing image. So I thing it should be possible to use it. But direct when I choose the vhdx file I get the error message. It is an Hyper-V file. May be that that causes the problem.

I have no vhdx file to see if I can select it but, as I said, VirtualBox does not support vhdx images as far as I know, and you can't have Hyper-V enabled if you want to run VirtualBox guests.
