Help,
Host and Guest VirtualBox Extension Packs do not match. My Host has 4.3.10r93012 but my guest Machine Session Information / Runtime Information /
Shows version: 4.3.6r91406
Please guide me to the appropriate way to upgrade VM Guest Extension Pack. Apparently the Guest does not automatically pick it it from the host.
I do have Oracle_VM_VirtualBox_Extension_Pack-4.3.10-93012.vbox-extpack in my Guest Downloads Folder

Re: Host and Guest VirtualBox Extension Packs do not match
You are confusing "Guest Additions" (GAs) with the "Extension Pack" (EP).
The EP is installed the host and enables things like USB 2.0 devices, VirtualBox RDP and PXE boot for Intel cards. That, you have done.
The GAs are installed on each guest. Manually, i.e. the guest "does not automatically pick it it from the host". With your VM running go to the Devices, Insert Guest Additions CD Image... A CD-ROM will be mounted on your guest. Run the appropriate installer to install the GAs. For more information, take a look at Chapter 4. Guest Additions.
