Hi -
I am a new VBox user. When I installed the VBox, it created the folders in the standard location for mac.
However, I want it to be on a harddisk partition I have created specifically.
1) Can I just cut the entire folder and copy it into the partition? Will that work?
2) How will the application know to open the Vm from the new location?
Many Thanks,
Din

In VirtualBox under preferences, in the General tab change the "Default Machine Folder" to where you would like it.

If you already have an existing VM, read: Moving a VM
