Where can I download the guest additions for VB 4.3.10? I currently have v. 4.2.16.

You have the ISO for the Guest Additions (GAs) 4.2.16 and you want to install the 4.3.10 GAs in one or more of your guests? Did I understand the issue correctly?

The GAs are part of the VirtualBox that you already have. From the menu, choose "Devices", "Insert Guest Additions CD Image..." and the ISO should mount in your guest. If for some reason or another you want the actual ISO, you can get it from the distribution directory: http://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/4.3.10/
Do NOT send me Personal Messages (PMs) for troubleshooting, they are simply deleted.

If you obfuscate any information requested, I will obfuscate my response. These are virtual UUIDs, not real ones.

I found the guest additions in Applications/VirtualBox.app/Contents/MacOS/VBoxGuestAdditions.iso. Now, how do I go about installing?

When I start up Virtual Box, a warning message pops up:

"One or more virtual hard disks, CD/DVD or floppy … are not currently accessible. As a result you will not be able to operate virtual machines that use these files until they become accessible later."

WindowsXP.vdi shows up ok under "hard drives" in the virtual media manager. Under Optical Disks, there are 3 files. VBoxGuestAdditions.iso and 2 nested files under it, both of which are shown in red: VBoxGuestAdditions_4.2.16.iso and gparted-live-0.16.1-1-i486.iso. They are not attached. I'm not having any trouble running VBox: the mouse/trackpad works and so does the shared file folder.

did you install the guest additions in Windows? If you did, you need to restart Windows before you can see it. If not, you still need to install the guest additions.
How do I install the guest additions? I also want to install Windows 7 64-bit. I'm now running OS X 10.8.5 with WinXP 32-bit
as guest.

Which menu are you referring to? The Device list in Finder has no menu, and Finder has no option to "Insert Guest Additions CD Image..."

Did you mean the Start menu in Windows? In My Computer, Devices with Removable Storage, lists VirtualBox Guest Additions as a CD drive.
