[Solved] Win 7: Can't get the full screen showing

Hi!
I installed VirtualBox on my hp240 laptop (Core i3 3rd gen processor) under Linux Slackware.
I created a Windows 7 virtual machine.
Windows 7 doesn't display full screen.
The maximum I get is a rectangle about 1/4 of my monitor screen.
I dowloaded the Intel driver corresponding to the onboard graphics.
It did not solve the problem.
What should I do to get the full screen?
Thanks,
JL

The actual graphics drivers will not help you. They might even hurt you. You need to install the VirtualBox Guest Additions (GA). Check the manual for the installation instructions.

Moved to Windows Guests. Please don't post in "Using VirtualBox" unless your question is about using the VirtualBox software itself, e.g. GUI menus, VBoxManage syntax etc.

Just allow me to stay in the VirtualBox installation forum momentarily, since it seems that the problem comes from the installation of VirtualBox itself.
Actually, I installed the VBoxGuestAdditions_4.3.4.iso.
I also installed the virtualbox-extension-pack and I can't use USB2 (There is another post for that matter: "Why USB2 is not working?")
So I suspect that the installation of VirtualBox went wrong
Slackware 14.1 is the host OS. I downloaded the SlackBuild packages, compiled and installed the generated modules:
virtualbox
virtualbox-addons
virtualbox-extension-pack
virtualbox-kernel
virtualbox-kernel-4.3.4
virtualbox-kernel-addons

I desinstalled the Slackbuild's VirtualBox from the Slackware distro
I installed the VirtualBox(dot)org version from Oracle instead along with the extension pack.
Now the USB2 is working fine.
But Win7 stays in a window half the size of the hp240's screen and doesn't expand to full screen.
So now the question is:
How to have Win7 full screen?

you need to install the guest additions from the devices menu. you also need to add yourself to the vboxusers group in your host.

Solved!
I desinstalled the Slackbuild's VirtualBox.
I installed the VirtualBox(dot)org version instead along with the extension pack.
Now the USB2 is working fine.
And I installed the Guest Additon in Win7.
Now I have Win7 working fine, full screen, also.
So everything is solved.
My mistake had been to install my distro's version of VirtualBox instead of the Oracle's original.
Sorry for ringing the bell, how could I have guessed?
Thank you for your help.
