Add files to Windows 98?

Add files to Windows 98?

I have windows 8 just finished installing windows 98se. I have a few game folders I want to add to the virtual box and install. Any help?

Quickest: bundle the folders into an ISO, then mount the ISO in the VM. I hope these aren't graphics based games, since a Win98 guest will only have VESA graphics.

In the longer term it's possible to set up a network shared folder, but it's Win98 so it'll give you very little help. I've had more success sharing a folder from Win98 to the host rather than the other way around.

Yea ive looked all over that to figure it out but i couldnt find anything. I tried following these instructions as well but I got an error every time i tried to access the folder i shared.

I thought an ISO might work but didnt get around to testing it last night. They are games that were made in 95/96.

I used Magic Iso maker to create an ISO of the files i wanted, used Daemon Tools to mount the ISO to the same mounted drive i used to install windows 98 and it worked great.

You can mount an ISO directly in the VM. There's no need for Daemon Tools.
