I can not share data between host and guest using the shared clipboard. I tried setting the Shared Clipboard to "Host to Guest", Guest to Host" and "Bidirectional". None of the modes works. I have guest additions installed. I also tried re-installing Guest Additions with no luck.
VirtualBoxVM - 4.3.10 r93012
Host - Windows 7 - 64 bit
Guest - Ubuntu 12.04.04 LTS
Guest Additions - VBOXADDITIONS_4.3.10_90312
Any help is appreciated.

Re: Shared Clipboard doesn't work
you can only share text or an image copied to the clipboard. if you have any clipboard manager in either the guest or host the clipboard will most likely not work.

How do I determine if I have a clipboard manager? I am using a new install of Win 7 and Ubuntu 12.04.

Re: Shared Clipboard doesn't work
well, unless you installed one in Windows yourself it won't have one. I can't remember if Ubuntu comes with one installed or not. Some Linux distros do, some don't.DRuggles wrote:How do I determine if I have a clipboard manager? I am using a new install of Win 7 and Ubuntu 12.04.
Do all your other guest additions features work? integrated mouse, resizable screen? shared folders etc?
