I am running VBox 4.3.10 with the current Guest additions. Host - Win 7 Sp1 64 Bit, Guest 32 Bit Ubuntu 14.04 (current release), I have the same issue with 32 Bit Bodhi Linux 3.0.0 which is based on 14.04. Resolution and most all features work perfectly, but I am unable to access a win 7 folder (NTFS) via sharing. I use the command in the manual : mount -t vboxsf sharename mountpoint (share name is Tunes mount point is /media/Share). I have reinstalled both guest Os's and removed the oracle software and reinstalled. I never had any issue with the same host and various derivatives of Ubuntu 12.04.
The error I see when I try the mount command is mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on ...,
missing codepage or other error In some cases useful info is found in syslog - try dmesg | tail or so

Known bug. See ticket 12879 for the temporary workaround until a new version is released.

A much easier fix for now. With Bodhi not running, remove the shared folder from your Bodhi guest. Then in the shared folder settings, click add shared folder, choose Folder Path, other, select the folder you want to share, "Tunes" in your case, check Auto-mount. Start Bodhi, open the terminal and add your user name to the vboxsf group. restart Bodhi.
the Tunes folder will be in /media

Thanks so much for the quick responses, I should have asked sooner, I wasted many hours trying to figure this out! I used loukingjr 's method and it works flawlessly in Bodhi 3.0.0! Now If I can just figure out how to avoid typing xrandr -s 1920x989 in terminal everytime I restart the Bodhi Guest.

glad it worked out for you. just so you know, if you have a question and it's solved, you should go to your original post, click edit, then type (Solved) in the front of the title line, then submit. The other thing you should know is, if you have a different question such as how to avoid typing in xrandr... you should start a new post.

I'm not sure why you are typing it every time. Once you set a guest window to whatever size, it should open to that size the next time you start it.

I did figure out the resolution issue, I set my video memory to 256 MB so this limited the resolution to 1024x768. Once I set it back to 128 MB Voila the issue was fixed. This is one excellent resource I hope to be able to contribute some answers in the future!
