I have tried playing around with this and just can't find anything about this?
The VBoxManage controlvm usbdetach only works at that moment. Doesn't perm set it.
I don't want my Windows VM from detecting it when I plug my iPhone in.
It is not on my filters list for it but it comes up each time its plugged in so I then
have to go and click on the USB icon for the VM and uncheck it to release it back to OSX.
I added it to my filter, and then unchecked it.. that didn't work either.
So I must be missing something?
I have a USB filter for using my Keyspan USB>Serial Adapter which works fine but I want
the Win VM to see it.
Prevent iPhone from detecting in Windows VM?

Post the ouput (zipped) of the following three commands (replace <YourVirtualMachine> with the actual name of your VM):
VBoxManage list usbhost
VBoxManage list usbfilters
VBoxManage showvminfo "<YourVirtualMachine>"Do NOT send me Personal Messages (PMs) for troubleshooting, they are simply deleted.
