Post by ipatch »

Hello I am trying to boot NetBSD 6.1.4 using the amd64.iso found on the NetBSD website using VirtualBox 4.3.10, but it seems to kernel panic when booting the ISO. I'm running Mac OS X 10.9.2 The log file => https://ghostbin.com/paste/9oqds Any suggestions.

You have the following in your log:
00:00:09.961046 !! Guru Meditation 1155 (VINF_EM_TRIPLE_FAULT)
For Guru Meditation errors, you should head to the bugtracker and either search for an appropriate bug where you'll attach your logs and other vital information, or open a new bug report.

PS. There is an "Upload attachment" just below the form that you used to post. No need to use external sites. A lot of people don't trust them...
Do NOT send me Personal Messages (PMs) for troubleshooting, they are simply deleted.
Do NOT reply with the "QUOTE" button, please use the "POST REPLY", at the bottom of the form.
If you obfuscate any information requested, I will obfuscate my response. These are virtual UUIDs, not real ones.

I tried attaching the log file using the "Upload attachment" option, but it said the file was too big :/

right click on the file and select Compress..
OSX, Linux and Windows Hosts & Guests
There are three groups of people. Those that can count and those that can't.
