VirtualBox newbie here so apologies if I'm a little sluggish! I've done a search and couldn't find anything specifically on this (although that may just be my rather iffy searching skills).
I have an old laptop that has XP installed and I've just got a new Windows 8.1 laptop. I want to install XP in VirtualBox on the new 8.1 laptop (as we have older software versions that are XP only and we need to be able to use them for support purposes) but I'm not sure how to transfer the XP software/license from the old laptop to the VirtualBox installation of XP...or even if that's possible? The XP installation is OEM, so there's no handy CD with XP on it. The old laptop is going to be retired so doesn't need to be used after this.
Is there any way to do this?
