well, the fact seems to be the user in question has a PC with no hardware virtualization support. I was just discussing with someone who was having a problem running a particular 32bit OS on his computer. In the discussion it turned out there was a Lenova laptop with the exact same model number, one of which came with an i3 and VT-x support, and one with a Pentium 2 core P6200 with no VT-x support. I think what we would find out with a log file is the particular user in question has no VT-x support. Speculation I realize, but there were many PC's sold with a barely adequate CPU to run a 64bit OS to save costs.
