I'm not sure exactly how/where to report this, so I'll start by dropping it in here.

Found bug report at https://www.virtualbox.org/ticket/6473, which is 2 to 4 years old and reported as fixed in VB 4.1.2.
I am observing the exact same behavior with an Oracle Linux guest on a Windows 7 Pro host, with VBox 4.3.10 r93012

The best is actually on the bug report itself. make sure you include the VM log file so the devs have all the info about the context.
