step by step...

Now there is a file called sf_Transfer, that seems to be the folder "Transfer" on my Mac. It has hundreds of Gigs space, while my VM-Partition is only 5 Gigs. But I dont have any permissions, because root is the only owner.
Can I reboot the GUI as root? If so, how? Otherwise weĺl have to use chmod xyz xwrwx etc., wont we?

yes, I always work with root privileges on my mac. I changed the permissions on the mac for staff and everyone to read and write, bud debian doesnt care.

okay first of all you need to try and be a little more complete and precise in your desciption. do you now have a folder in /media in Debian called sf_Transfer?

and tell me how you set up the shared folder.

sorry, sf_transfer is a folder, not a file. And yes, it is within the folder media. Owner is root, group is vboxsf, others have no permissions. In the about or info - window it is written "you are not the owner, therefore you cant change permissions". I mean the window you receive after a right-click on the folder and choose the last entry.

actually as you should be able to see, since you are a member of the vboxsf group, you can read and write to that folder and it should say that right under the vboxsf group

what you want to do is open the sf_Transfer folder and bookmark it.. That will put a location in the sidebar of the Debian File manager. You can also use the Bookmarks menu to rename it if you want.

I was thinking about how I can open the folder and bookmark it, although I cant open it at all?
As I tried to describe, debian says I have no permissions to open the folder.
