Internet Explorer encountered a validation error

Running into an issue when running IE on Windows 7 VM -

MSN home page opens and error in the subject appears - "Internet Explorer encountered a validation error" :x

Process name: iexplore.exe
Module name: mshtml.dll
Assert offset: 00000000004F5334
