I am trying to boot a VHD from hyper-v. The guest OS is Windows 7 64 Bit Pro.
But it bluescreens with a 7B error, so I can't get into it.
What can I do?
(Also, btw, I read that the free version doesn't have remote desktop. Does that mean you cannot remote desktop to any guest OS?)

0x7B means that it can't find the boot disk, which can be caused by a number of issues, the simplest of which is putting the disk on the wrong disk controller. Try changing the controller type to IDE.FrankJor wrote:I am trying to boot a VHD from hyper-v. The guest OS is Windows 7 64 Bit Pro.

That's wrong. Install the extension pack to get features such as USB2 and VRDP. It's not open source, but it's still free.FrankJor wrote:(Also, btw, I read that the free version doesn't have remote desktop.
