Issue with IP in my VBox

I seem to be having an issue running RedHat X64. I would say every half hour or so the IP that I have through the command "ifconfig" will increase by one. So lets say it was 192.168.0.2, about a half hour or so after getting that specific IP it will change and be 192.168.0.3. I am not sure what is causing this but I have tried to switch the networking settings and such with no luck. I have seen some people saying to edit a couple files but cant seem to find the specific files they mention. If anyone can help I would grealtly appreciate it. Than you for your time.
