Return from Scaled mode to Full Screen Mode

I'm having this same issue on both a Mac with OSX 10.85 and one with 10.9x installed. I've tested with two guests, one running CentOS, the other running Windows 7. I'm not sure I'm seeing a solution on this post. Can I get an update on the status of this issue? Is there a fix or workaround, or is it just the way it is with virtualbox?

Hi all,

I have the same issue.

I have Mac OSX 10.10.1 (Yosemite), VirtualBox 4.3.20.

It happens on the two guests I have - Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (64Bit) and Windows 8.1.

If I switch to scaled mode I can't switch back.

If I restart the guest OS - it is back to normal.
