IOU according to
Wikipedia:
An IOU or I.O.U. is an acknowledgment of debt. The term may also refer to:
- I.O.U. (album), by jazz fusion guitarist Allan Holdsworth
- "I.O.U." (song), by jazz-funk group Freeez
- "I.O.U." (Jimmy Dean song), by country singer Jimmy Dean
- I.O.U. (hip-hop group), an American hip-hop duo
- I.O.U., a 1989 album by Gregory Isaacs
- Investor-owned utility, a supplier of basic services
- Intercultural Open University, a distance education institution
- Interdependent Occupational Unit, the monetary unit of the Kingdom of Lovely (sic: ???)
- Islamic Online University, an online, distance-learning university founded by Dr. Bilal Philips
Which one are you trying to import? If it is the currency, I expect real trouble! Not just with VirtualBox!
No, seriously now, what is an IOU? Where did you get a hold of this appliance, and can we get access to it?

IOU means IOS over Unix and I got it from GNS3 which is trying to deploy switching in their virtual Cisco networking Emulator.

Why would you want to run GNS3 in a vm?
