CloneVDI conversion tool?

Hello -- Can CloneVDI be use to convert a vmware vm (vmdk) to vbox vm (vdi)?

Did you read the first entry in this forum - CloneVDI discussion and support? It says CloneVDI accepts vmdk input.

Yes -- I was more concerned about the HAL layer -- drivers and vHardware -- How would that be configured?

vmdk and vdi are just drive container types. It has nothing to do and does not care what is inside the container. So changing the type is not the concern. Converting VMware to VirtualBox is another thing. Usually all that you need to worry about are the guest additions of the guest. They are not compatible and should be removed before transporting in either direction.
