Hi folks,
I'm experiencing a problem with the latest version of Virtualbox (v4.3.10) in my Windows 8.1 host.
It looks like Virtualbox now installs the "Virtualbox Host-Only Network" adapter by default upon installation.
Unfortunately this causes problems with some networked games on my host (Borderlands 2, Torchlight 2) and prevents connections to my host if configured as a game server.
Deleting the Host-Only network adapter in the Virtualbox global preferences causes intermittent wireless network drop outs on my host.
Solution:
The solution/work around for these issues is to disable the Host Only network adapter in Windows 8.1.
Hope this helps others who experience problems.
Thanks.

Re: Host-Only Network Problem (VBox v4.3.10)
Host Only in one of the optional components which you can select or deselect when you install VirtualBox.
I believe that Host Only (or any other option) has always been installed if you did not specifically prevent it.
