Parm. 1 is usually the one that contains spaces and needs to be wrapped in " " quotes
Thank you for that info. I've bookmarked this page, did a screenshot, saved all my notes in a text file including everything here, saved the webpage to html, and put it all in my Dropbox, so I can refer back to it if I need to, and something tells me down the road I probably will.

Well, I imagine with you being a site moderator, you can officially close this thread and mark it as resolved.

Again, thank you, and everyone else, for all your help!

I brought up disk management, right-clicked on the healthy partition, chose Extend Volume, just kept hitting the Next button, and it joined them together, nothing to it. Thanks again.

All you need to do to close the topic is edit your subject to say [Solved]

Okay then, will do. As soon as I can figure out how that's done. I see right above where I'm now typing a box where I can edit the Subject so I imagine that's how it's done? In my original post, I misspelled virtual (was virutal) but corrected it by editing the Subject line in a response. Sorry, I'm usually one who figures things out for myself and rarely asks for help in forums so I kinda just fumble my way around as I go and have to ask dumb questions at times.

Just one last question though, did I post this in the correct area? I'm thinking I should've put this in the Windows Guests section instead. Just wondering for future reference.

Actually this would have fit under either one of them since it concerned host side and guest side. I watch this closely and most of the time if it is important I move them for you.

That's good to know. And thanks for putting [Solved] in the Subject line. I would've done it but wanted to make sure that was the correct way first. 8)
