File Sharing on Windows System

Hello All,
I am not able to share file from host to Guest Virtual System.
Step followed are..
1)Installed Guest Adutions from device menu in Guset system.
2)Shared folder from Host System(eg:d:\Software) from Device Menu.
But,now not able to access/find the location of the shared file from host system to Guest System.
System Details.
Installed VirtualBox on Windows 8 Host and windows 7 Guest.
Please help to get this solution.

The version I am using is Version 3.0.2r49928 and installed Guest Additions (in the guest)
Host System is 64 bit and Guest is 32 bit and Space allocated to Guest is 30GB and Host contain 500GB.

Why such an old version of VirtualBox? That version came out 5 years ago and is no longer supported. You need to attach the VBox.log

That does not fulfil the requirements of Minimum information needed for assistance. In particular please attach a VM log file, zipped.

And be warned that using such an old version of VirtualBox may complicate support, in fact 3.0.2 is almost 5 years old and officially no longer supported at all.
