Windows 7 N crashes with variant BSOD
Posted: 3. Apr 2014, 21:59
Hello every one
This seems to be my first VBox post
So hopefully i'm not doing too much wrong.
I lately installed an Windows 7 N 64bit client on my linux host system to get rid of the old Windows XP 64bit system that i used to run programs that cannot be replaced by linux programms or do not run under wine.
Installation of Win7 works fine also programm installation.
But now i'm stuck in recuring variants of BSOD on this system and till now i'm not able to com tho a conclusion what might be the reason.
The virtual hdd of both clients (Win Xp and Win 7) are both stored on a NFS mount to a Synology Diskstation DS211j
Both clients have 2 network drives mounted
a) to a DS211j share
b) to a DS713+ share
The BSODs appear from my point of mostly when access to these network shares occure.
Thew Windows XP client never had BSOD problems as far as i remember,
what is new
- The DS713 share is new to the Windows 7 client
- But it is also crashing without having files open to this share open but to the other (as it seems)
I attached some BSOD logs informations and also the VBox logfile.
Maybe someone has a hint what might be the reason.
If more information is needet, plz let me know.
Any help is welcome.
Thx
