Can't install Vbox on OS X 10.9.2

This afternoon i tried to upgrade the virtual box from the version 4.3.8 to 4.3.10, at the end of the installation, the setup showed me an error that can't install the version, after that the old version it shows the icon with an ?, it means that is not correctly installed and if i try to open the app, it gives a message that is damnaged, so i think, uninstall the virtual box and then download the latest version to install, but nothing it always show the same error, i have nothing now, i really need this program to do homework at class.

Have you checked the checksums of the downloaded file? Have you made sure that all VBox* processes have quit before uninstalling? Have you uninstalled 4.3.8 by mounting the 4.3.8 image and "sudo /Volumes/VirtualBox/VirtualBox_Uninstall.tool"?

Thanks for the reply, yes all the VBox processes were closed, i did't try to uninstall through the image of the vbox, i will try this afternoon, about the checksums i didn't check it but i presupose that it's allright downloading the .dmg of the website of virtualbox, late afternoon i will text the status.

go to system preferences> Security & Privacy. Enable Allow apps downloaded from Anywhere. Reinstall VirtualBox.

thanks for reply loukingjr, i've already the check active, i've just try to install (7 times) and now it worked, i don't know why but it work.
