Recently I was working on Windows-XP as guest system. All was working fine and used to save the machine state every time. Few days back this problem showed up. As I saved my machine this time and restarted it again Virtual Box complained that it can't find the disk.
When I saw the actual image file from my Host OS I came to know that the image was 0(zero) KB in size. Earlier it was 10.2 GB.
The disk had much important data.
Can anyone please help me restore this condition. At least restore the data in the disk.
Please note that other VMs are working which had VDMK format of the image.
Thanks in Advance.

Re: Virtual Box Disk Image error(VDI format)
The easiest fix is to restore from your regular backup. Obviously, since the disk contains "much important data" you must have many backups.
If you want more concrete advice you need to start giving useful details, for example precise error messages, filenames etc.
