the situation is as follows .

because I'm not able to usb-boot my 2009 macbook, with any version of linux-distros and I don't have a cd-/dvd-drive anymore attached to my macbook ...
I'm trying to do it this way ;

i've got KXStudio (latest, so far) installed in Virtualbox / Mac OS X (Mavericks) host system .

now, i'm wondering ... is there a possible workaround / trick to clone the virtualbox-machine (*.vdi-file) to a real physical bootable partition .
my system drive is partitioned as GUID-partition-table Mac OS X (80GBs) and Linux (80GBs) .

Assuming it is possible to clone your .vdi to the Linux partition on your Mac, you will still need something like reFit installed in order to boot it. I think you have to remove the VirtualBox guest additions before you try and clone it as well. You might do a google search for v2p conversion.
