4.3.10 on Mavericks 10.9.2 - dual head full screen behavior

4.3.10 significantly changed the full screen behavior using dual monitors and non-independent "spaces"
My setup - Mavericks 10.9.2 through 2 x 27" Dells. Spaces is on. Independent spaces is turned off in Mission Control.
What I expected :
Previous versions of VirtualBox and Windows 7 guests were configured to use one display - the right side. When I flipped to a space with the right side a Windows 7 VirtualBox, I had full use of the left display for Mac related things. Often, I'd have a Safari window open on the left display to solve a Windows problem in the right display.
Now, full screen VirtualBox 4.3.10 Windows 7 forces itself into it's own 'space' taking up both displays while leaving the right display blank. I briefly plugged through the preferences and settings and couldn't find an option to *not* create a separate 'Space' when starting a new virtual machine in Full Screen -> Right Monitor mode.
Please let me know if there is a way to fix this in the current version and if not, please direct me to the feedback form where I can request they fix this bug.
