Dear all,
I've got an issue while managing the network on some VM's under windows server 2008 R2 and a 10Gb NIC.
I want to connect several VM's to different VLAN's in my Huawei 5700, using tagging (802.1q) and by sharing for all the VM's the same host phisycal NIC.
From the docs I read that the bridge modal would allow the VM to exchange packets directly with the phisical network interface,
no matter the host OS configs...
So...I suppose it would be possible to connect multiple VM's on different VLAN by tagging and "bridging" on one phisycal NIC...am i correct?
On the VM's (win XP) i set up a Intel PRO/100 virtual NIC with the correct vlan tag, but I can't ping the gateway or anything...
I googled for almost a day but can't find something helpful...and I have a poor networking knowledge...
Someone can help?!?
