Can I initiate an internal network without enabling VirtualBox's DHCP server for that network? I have a VM connected via an internal network to the Green interface of a Firewall VM, namely IPFire, on which I will enable a DHCP server.

Try creating another intnet with a different name and it should not include the previous intnet and not have dhcp enabled.
