Cannot Find VB Shortcut
Cannot Find VB Shortcut
I am running Zorin OS 8 which is off of Ubuntu Saucy Salamander. I've installed the latest version of virtualbox and cannot find it anywhere. It is installed as I exported all my vms before the upgrade. The only way I was able to access virtualbox is via clicking on the vms I've exported. Now, I do not want to close virtual box because I would have to click on my exported vms each time I want to open VB. Where is the execution file installed and how do I create a shortcut to my desktop? Thanks for reply.

Re: Cannot Find VB Shortcut
It depends on the DM that you are using as to where to find the program. Usually it is located in the system tools or administration.
Open the program search and enter VirtualBox. You would need to add the program to the launcher ( which ever they use ) but that is program specific and yo would need to ask Zorin for the exact way to achieve this.

Re: Cannot Find VB Shortcut
Ok. Thank you. The older version of virtualbox was installed via the repository. I upgraded from Oracle's website. The old version would be found under accessories. I did find this newer version under system tools. So thank you very much.
